On Thursday the 26th of September the sauna will be closed from open until 11am due to maintenance.

From Saturday the 21st of September to Sunday the 22nd of September the AACSF Cheerleading State Championships will be taking place at MSAC. This will result in the centre being busier than usual, and the event car parking rate of $20 will be in place for non-members. This rate will be in place from open on Saturday until close on Sunday. Members will only be charged the $20 rate after three hours.

On Friday the 27th of September MSAC will be open from 7am-8pm instead of usual operating hours due to the AFL Grand Final public holiday.

Lakeside Stadium will be closed.

On this day, there will be changes to the Group Fitness timetable at MSAC. Classes are as follows:

8.15am Cycle

8.30am Aqua

9.20am Body Pump

9.20am Reformer Pilates

9.30am DWR

10.35am Hot Yoga

Please be aware that the MSAC Waterslide will be closed for maintenance for an extended period from Monday August 19th through to Friday November 29th 2019.

At MSAC, family enjoyment of our aquatic facilities is our priority so we’re thrilled to announce the introduction of some fun new inflatables that will be available in high rotation during the waterslide closure period. Bring the family down to MSAC to enjoy water volleyball along with “The Cannon Run” – a giant balance challenge course that extends across almost 20 meters!

Basketball area

From the 15th of July through to September a range of refurbishments will be taking place in the basketball hall and surrounding areas.

The redevelopment works include the following:

  • Reconfiguration of the foyer space; relocation of the reception desk and separation of the basketball area from the rest of the public foyer.
  • Hoops Café to be refurbished.
  • The basketball hall will receive new score benches and the access control for the space will be improved.

The works will be mostly minor and there will be minimal impact to the area. Works will continue through to September and we will continue to update you on any impacts and changes to access.

We thank you for your patience as we continuously strive to provide the best facility for our patrons and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Works are now underway for the State Netball Hockey Centre's $64.6 million upgrade. Be sure to check this page before your visit to learn of any restrictions.
