From Tuesday 30 June 2020, DHHS will operate in-vehicle COVID-19 testing site within the Multi Deck Car Park at MSAC.  It will be open from 9am to 5pm, every day.

As a result, we have made some changes to our normal access points based on the heavy traffic expected by DHHS.

Changes to MSAC access and parking

  • There will be no access permitted to MSAC via Albert Road. This will be for COVID-19 testing traffic only.
  • MSAC is only accessible via Aughtie Drive. All visitors and athletes are asked to park in the Stadiums Car Park or the 30 min bays along our service road.
  • No parking is available in the Multi Deck Car Park.
  • Access to MSAC only via the main entrance.

Important information regarding the testing site

  • Entry to the testing site is via the Cecil St / Albert Road entrance and roundabout. Traffic management are expecting high volumes of cars and will manage impacts on Albert Road.
  • The testing site will be located in the Multi-Deck Car Park.
  • Testing will be conducted in-vehicle only. No walk ups are permitted and no one is allowed outside of their vehicle.
  • The testing station will be situated on the middle level under cover, with vehicles to go to the top level and queue down to the testing area before then leaving the car park.
  • All testing staff are fully trained and qualified personnel, and the testing site will have its own cleaning, security and traffic management in operation.

As a Victorian Government venue, we appreciate your understanding as we work closely with DHHS to support their plans.
