Aquatic Classes

Aquatic exercise is a great way to maintain fitness in a low-impact way that is gentle on bones and joints. If you've suffered an injury in the past and are looking to get back into exercise (with the approval of a trained health professional) our Aquatic Classes may be just what the doctor ordered (literally)!

AQUA HIIT 

This class is your answer if you want to challenge your whole body. It will tone you up, increase your fitness level and keep burning calories for hours after the session. Exercises are performed with a brief high level of effort or intensity to stimulate the body on all levels. Your instructor will help motivate you to reach your limit. This class is medium to high level however can be worked to your own capacity and fitness level. If you want to get results and get out of your comfort zone - this class is for you! 

AQUA EXERCISE

Weight bearing with low impact, low resistance and light cardio. This class is ideal for an individual who is just getting into fitness, is undergoing rehabilitation is pregnant or senior who is looking for resistance training. Classes use a variety of equipment and are conducted in a large group environment catering for all levels of fitness. Class duration is 45 minutes in MSAC's 25M Lap Pool.

DEEP WATER RUNNING

Non weight bearing, low impact, high resistance exercise. This class focuses on conditioning and toning exercises to build core strength along with high cardio fitness workouts. A medium level of fitness and good health is required for this class. 

LAP CLUB

MSAC swim coaches assist with stroke correction and improving your swim technique for both indoor and open water. All abilities are welcome whether you are new to water or are a competitive swimmer.
