SNHC offers first class netball facilities that include a 2 court arena and 3 indoor courts. The existing 4 outdoor courts will be replaced with a further 6 indoor six courts as part of the venue's re-development, due to complete late 2020. SNHC is also host to the Parkville Netball Competition which is the largest domestic competition in Victoria attracting around 5,000 players each week.

The State Netball & Hockey Centre is one of Australia’s premier sporting venues offering sporting facilities and programs from grass roots to elite, international and Olympic level athletes. Built in 2001 the venue attracts around 500,000 visitors each year and is the undisputed home of Netball and Hockey in Victoria whilst also hosting a number of other sporting activities including taekwondo, dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, corporate sports and schools competitions.
